Unlike many other forms of advertising, where you pay regardless of who sees the advert, "The Dance Resource" has a very focused audience. The only people that use this site are in the dance industry or are themselves dancers.

Geography

We offer 2 different options for where the adverts will appear that depend entirely on the outreach of your business. All adverts that meet the criteria to be shown on a particular page are given equal priority.

National
If you select "National" as your advertising region, your adverts will appear on any page within the site. The only exception to this is when a page is displaying information based on a visitors search that would give "Statewide" or "ZIP" adverts the priority.

"National" advertisement campaigns get far more coverage than any other form of advertisng on our site but of course, if your business is trying to attract local customers then you are better off opting for one of our Statewide or ZIP code options.

Statewide
If you choose to advertise "Statewide" your adverts will appear on pages where a visitor used "State" as one of their search criteria and the state matches what you have set for your adverts.

"Statewide" advertisement campaigns receive the second most coverage and get priority over "National" adverts when State is used as the search criteria by a visitor.

We offer a number of different graphic based and text only advertising opportunities to suit your budget.

At this time we do not offer graphic design services so you will have to supply your own adverts at the required dimensions.

Cost Per Impressions

Our advertising is based on how many times you want the advert to appear. You pay in advance for a number of impressions that are available in convenient sized blocks with discounts for the more you purchase.

Unlike pay-per-click advertising, this type of advertising is fair to everyone because it's impossible for your competitors to simply click away on your advert until your advertising budget is all gone. Visitors to the site have no control over which adverts get shown and when.

Advert Review and Approval

This web site is visited by a wide audience, including many young students, so in order to maintain the high standards of the content you must first submit your advert for review. If approved, your ad campaign will start working right away. If we reject the advert for any reason we will notify you and you will not be billed.
