So, anyone watching the new show Dance War Bruno vs. CarrieAnn? What do you think?

I saw the first episode with the auditions.

I'm a big, big......no BIG fan of "so you think you can dance" so that's what I'm comparing it to. I like the show and I like the concept but the dancing is definitely nowhere near as good as SYTYCD.

Bruno is hillarious of course. Got to love him.

I'm definitely going to watch to see how it pans out.

I plan on watching it as well. I am interested to see who they pick for there teams and how they go about it.

Okay. I was so upset that Team Bruno had to let someone go. Team Bruno is my favorite. What about you?

I agree. I like team Bruno the best. Team Bruno has much stronger dancers while Team CarrieAnn, I think has the stronger singers. The choreography has been quite fun and creative. The voices are good, but certainly not American Idol caliber. Great idea using the musical themes each week. I have the Latin Music show TiVo'ed and I still have to watch it. I do hope Team Bruno finally wins one challenge.

What's with Carrie-Ann crying all the time? I know it's an emotional time but it's difficult for her to say what she's feeling because she's blubbering so much.

So Team Bruno won... but they won a recording contract??? Team CarrieAnn definitely had the better voices, but the dancing was much better for Team Bruno. It was a fun show, but a little odd and out of place... Dance War winners win a recording contract??? Still the dancing was fun and they sang well as a group. I enjoyed the show, but now I’m eagerly awaiting the next season of So You Think You Can Dance.

FYI – did you happen to see or notice that Jaymz from Season 2 of So You Think You Can Dance was in HS Musical 2?

It did seem like the borders of the show were a little fuzzy. "Dance War" would imply that the show is about dancing but it seemed like each week, the group with the better vocals won.

Then of course the recording contract for the winners? Was is a dance show or a singing contest?

They should have named it, "Broadway Style Wars".

Other than that, it filled a small void in an otherwise dance free TV slot.
