So, what do you love about your dance class? Do you have a favorite? Is it because of the style or the teacher? Share you thoughts on why you like or dislike certain things about your class?

There are just so many things I like, precision, control, strength, speed agility, suppleness. I don't think I'll ever be perfect but I like the challenge. My teachers are great.
The one thing I don't like too much is how competitive and catty it can be. I started dancing late and I'm much older than most of the other girls in my class. The teachers are wonderful and supportive but I can hear some of the younger girls ribbing each other or snickering at someone who doesn't get the move the first time.
It's probably a maturity thing I guess.
Recital of course is awesome. I've done 2 now and loved them both. Slept for a week afterwards. Our studio owner hired a professional photographer who tool candid shots through the whole event so I even got some great pictures as well as wonderful memories.

I love my dance class so much. the teacher i have works us extremely hard, but is great. i always feel awesome after a class with her, and i have become extremely flexible since i started her class this year. with ballet, my technique has become better and stronger. in jazz, i have become more flexible and able to perform better then before. also in tap, i see that i can do steps that i thought i could never do! it is a great class and i look foward to it every week!
